I love nights of insomnia when I find someone who has the perfect humane cure for ant invasions.
Great writing Deirdre, I especially loved the last - I do that wondering about others thing too… and I have that same tinnitus, your description is spot on!
I love the ant story!! We’re inundated with ants right now, and I just can’t kill them. I’m leaving them alone. I might do something to divert them, later, but my Buddhist beliefs forbid me to kill them. They’re so cute how they work diligently to take a tiny crumb back to their lair… LOL…
Call me crazy, but I kinda like the idea of Yosemite Deirdre galloping away shooting her gun in the air.
Ha 😂well…

Hitting people isn't the thing, it's dealing with the aftermath that changes you. In the moment, the hitting is often lost to flow or rage.
Darn, well I'll have to keep hitting a bag then!
"I started boxing more than 25 years ago mainly because I really wanted to know what it was like to hit someone." So relatable!
The urge is real!
Oh my Gosh, your dad and the notes to the ants! 🐜♥️
And I’m totally with you on the open to more than one side and on the judgment piece.
Also, really glad to hear the reading went well. Would love if one day my visit to LA coincided with another one. :)
We will have to make that happen, just let me know!
I like that.

Those ants had moxie! Thanks for the Snaps.
Ha! They did!
The first paragraph of Sweet is everything. Thanks for sharing that.
Thanks, I love that you pointed that one out!
